Zumio Review

~I received this product from Erovibes for free in exchange for an honest review. This in no way, shape or form has any effect on my opinions on this product.~

The first time I saw the Zumio, I was in love. You all probably know how much I love pinpoint stimulation, and the Zumio looked like it could definitely deliver that. In short, yes, it works beautifully for me. It’s not perfect, and I don’t always feel like using it, but it’s a pretty great toy. Though, I know it won’t be for everyone, even for huge pinpoint lovers like myself.

First Impressions:

The outer box is stylish and modern with a holographic design, and there are some key features listed down the sides of the box. Inside the outer box, there is a sleek and white box with the name Zumio on the lid. Inside, you get the Zumio and its charging dock in a foam insert. Underneath the insert there’s a USB charging cable, a user manual, and a satin storage bag.

The Zumio is definitely the strangest looking sex toy I’ve ever owned (which is saying a lot!). It’s been described as looking like a toothbrush, an alien probe (my favourite one so far), a dental instrument, and a teeny tiny focus machine (my boyfriend’s description). The Zumio is made from mostly ABS plastic and silicone. The SpiroTip and handle are made from plastic, and there’s some silicone coating on part of the handle. There are three buttons on the Zumio. One to turn it on/off, and the other two to increase/decrease the intensity speeds, of which there are eight.

The Zumio also features a travel lock, which you activate by holding down on the power button for a few seconds, then repeat the action to unlock it again. The Zumio is USB rechargeable and the first charge takes about sixteen hours, which will give you around four hours of playtime. I actually love how the charging dock works because the LED light will blink while the Zumio is charging, then it will be a steady light once it’s finished charging. I honestly wish more chargers were like this.

Now before I get onto the rest of the review, I just want to discuss a few things about the Zumio marketing. There’s a section in the user manual called the 60 Second Experience. Actual fucking step by step instructions on how to use the Zumio. What the fuck even is this? I’ll masturbate however I want, thank you very much. I don’t need step by step instructions, and I’m sure a lot of people don’t either. Also, if you look at the bottom of the page, it says ‘time is approximate, one to five minutes is typical’. No, just no.

I can maybe understand that Zumio were trying to give the user a ‘best results’ kind of thing, or they were just giving them some pointers because the Zumio isn’t your traditional type of toy, but that’s really not how all this shit comes across at all. If anything, it would make someone feel as if their body were broken or that they were the problem, when that’s not the case. Everyone is different and if you don’t orgasm in 60 seconds with the Zumio, then that’s PERFECTLY FINE. I tried out the 60 Second Experience method just to see if it would actually work for me, but nope. I didn’t orgasm. I didn’t even get close. I’m not even surprised by that, and I don’t think you are either. I’m going to move on before the vein in my forehead bursts.

My Experience with the Zumio:

It may seem like I hate the Zumio from what I’ve said in this review so far, but I really don’t. I love this thing. To me, it’s not perfect, and I know it definitely won’t be for everyone, but when I’m in the mood for the Zumio, I love it. I’ve used the Zumio many times, but I’ve yet to really figure out how it actually feels. It’s extremely intense, even on the first setting. Because the tip is so small, it concentrates on a small area, and that can make the sensation a little painful for me. It definitely took me a while to figure out what worked best for me with the Zumio, and I have to be in a certain mood to use it. I like to hold the Zumio at a slight angle and kind of place the SpiroTip against the side of my clitoral hood, or just over the top of it. Placing the SpiroTip directly on my clit is pretty painful and I just can’t take the sensation.

The orgasms are really strong, yet sometimes kind of unsatisfying. There’s just no build up to an orgasm at all with the Zumio, it sort of just happens out of nowhere and I’m left laying there in a daze. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing because sometimes I just want a quick, unexpected orgasm. Most of the time, I don’t want that, I love the buildup to an orgasm. You also can’t apply a lot of pressure when using the Zumio because the vibrations will become a lot less intense. Although, I did find that I didn’t need to apply much pressure a lot when using the Zumio, so it’s not that much of an issue for me.

Verdict:

Overall, I love the Zumio. It’s easy to use, body-safe, rechargeable, and it quenches my thirst for focused pinpoint stimulation. The orgasms are fucking great, and they’re often delivered pretty fast for me on most days. Admittedly, I don’t use the Zumio all the time as I’m not always in the mood for the type of forced orgasms it gives me, but it’s great for when I’m craving something very pinpoint. I know there will be people who hate the Zumio as much as there are people who love it, but I think that if you want a toy that’s a little bit different and you love extremely pinpoint stimulation, then the Zumio would be a great choice!
