LELO Ella G-Spot Dildo Review

~I received this product from AmazingO for free in exchange for an honest review. This in no way, shape or form has any affect on my opinions on his product.~

As I’m sure a lot of you know by now, LELO made a pretty grave mistake when they decided to make Charlie Sheen the face of their new condom, Hex. I don’t think I need to go into detail on Charlie Sheen as there have been numerous reports on him, and none of them good. The reason why I’m mentioning this is because I just wanted you all to know that I do not support LELO’s business decision at all. I have a commitment to AmazingO to write this review on the LELO Ella, and I intend to honour that.

First Impressions:

I had my eye on the LELO Ella for the longest time, it’s been well-known by so many bloggers as being a great G-spotting tool, as well as being quite affordable if you shop around. It’s also really pretty as well so for a toy that’s not only amazing and nice to look at, it’s under £30 so I’d say that’s pretty fair going!

I didn’t take a picture of the packaging but the LELO Ella arrived in a lovely, sleek box (which is a different colour according to the colour of your Ella, mine is white so the box is white). Inside the box is the Lelo Ella in a foam insert, along with a user manual, 1-year warranty and a black satin storage bag. It’s all very tasteful like Lelo always is with their packaging so it would be perfect for gift giving.

I love how the LELO Ella looks. It has such an understated beauty, simple yet eye-catching. I’m a huge fan of that, the simpler the better. The LELO Ella has an overall length of 7.75 inches, while having 1 to 5 inches of insertable length. If you’ve read my review on Nooky Box, you’ll notice that the LELO Ella resembles the PicoBong Moka G-Vibe, which is interesting but not unusual as PicoBong is a brand of Lelo’s. I won’t be comparing them, just thought it would be interesting to mention this.

Lelo Ella.

I love that I actually have a dildo that’s completely white. I know a lot of people see white as a boring colour, or not a colour at all, but seeing a white sex toy is pretty rare and white can look incredibly elegant, regardless of how simple it is. The only branding on the LELO Ella is the LELO engraving down the side of the handle. The LELO Ella has some extremely velvety smooth silicone, it’s basically LELO’s trademark as it always seems to be compared in reviews. It’s completely rigid, firm and has a slight curve to it. There’s literally no flex or squish to this dildo at all which I think is what a G-spot dildo should be like to get the desired stimulation from it. The LELO Ella is actually marketed as being a double-ended dildo, which I find slightly strange. When I look at it, I don’t see it as being double-ended in the traditional sense but rest assured, I have inserted both ends. For..research purposes.. Insert a cheeky wink here.

My Experience with the Ella:

My hopes were pretty high when I was putting a little bit of water-based lube on the LELO Ella. I had heard so many good things about and how a lot of women squirted for the first time with the LELO Ella. I wasn’t thinking that this dildo would be my answer to squirting, but I will say that the LELO Ella gets me damn close to feeling like I could eventually achieve squirting with it.

I started with the handle end first, I was curious to see if marketing the LELO Ella as a double-ended dildo was a good move. It..sort of was. Don’t get me wrong, I did enjoy the handle end on some level, but I feel like it’s not really meant to be used to fuck yourself with. The handle end is clearly thicker than the G-spot end so it does feel slightly filling. But I’m not raving about it. I don’t think the handle end is curved enough at all and it feels pokey if I thrust too hard. Also, holding the G-spot end while I thrust the handle end into me is kinda difficult. The shape makes it difficult to hold and I couldn’t grip it properly. Plus, I think the handle end can’t stimulate my G-spot very well either, it seems to only just miss the mark. It also makes the LELO Ella difficult to clean if I use the handle end because of the LELO engraving, fluids are hard to get out.

The G-spot end is fucking fabulous. It’s just so good, I couldn’t believe how good at first! The handle end is long enough for me to able to thrust the flattened tip into me without too much effort and it just puts so much pressure onto my G-spot, the drag of the silicone also creates some lovely added sensation. Usually, I need to be quite aroused before I use a G-spot toy because otherwise I’ll experience pain instead of pleasure from such direct stimulation to my G-spot but with the LELO Ella, I discovered that I don’t need any stimulation prior to use. I can just insert it, thrust away, and I’ll be arching my back and almost instantly drenching the LELO Ella in my juices. It’s a magic dildo!

Verdict:

The LELO Ella is fucking amazing. I don’t have many toys dedicated to the G-spot but I will say that the LELO Ella is definitely one of my favourites. It’s one of the cheaper luxury dildos on the market and even though I have such a low opinion of LELO now, I do have to appluad them for making such an effective and affordable luxury dildo. Especially considering how pretty it is! I still find it strange how it’s marketed as a double-ended dildo but it could be just that the handle end doesn’t work for me personally, it could very well be your preferred end!

I understand if you’re not interested in purchasing the LELO Ella because of LELO’s poor business decision with Charlie Sheen, but you’re not really supporting them much if you purchase it from other adult companies. I’d really hate for someone to miss out on the LELO Ella when it’s such a great toy so think it over!
