Mystim Sizzling Simon Black Edition E-Stim Vibrator Review

~I received this product from Mystim for free in exchange for an honest review. This in no way, shape or form has any affect on my opinions on this product.~

Electro stimulation or e-stim as it’s more commonly named, can sound pretty scary to someone who’s never tried it before. I was one of those people. Not everyone has heard of it, and the ones who have, can be quite hesitant to try anything e-stim out.

I initially thought that it sounded painful and dangerous, but I wanted to try something new so I contacted the lovely people at Mystim to see if they would consider sending me a vibrator to review. They very generously offered me the choice of three different vibrators and I ended up choosing the Sizzling Simon. I love texture so it seemed like the perfect choice. So how was my first experience with e-stim? Well, let’s find out!

First Impressions:

The packaging for the Mystim Sizzling Simon is a fairly simple, a black box with white and pink lettering and an image of the Sizzling Simon on the front. It’s not discreet at all but it is nice and simple, ‘the way I like it’. See what I did there?

What always surprises me is when a toy comes in a case instead of a storage bag. Now, I’m not complaining at all here but in terms of preference, I’ll always prefer a storage bag as I feel that cases take up unnecessary space and I can’t really fit them anywhere with my other toys. But regardless, it is nice to see and to have a change from time to time. Plus this case has a nice, raised Mystim logo on it for a little detailing which I think is lovely and it also means I can easily identify the case!

Inside the case, you get your Sizzling Simon sealed in a plastic bag, a magnetic charging lead, a set of instructions and two packets of lube. One is called ‘Bonnie and Glide’, a simple water-based lubricant. And the other is called ‘The Goldfather’, a conductivity enhancer for electrosex toys. I’ve not used either of these, I just used my own bottle of water-based lube, which did the trick so I don’t think a conductivity enhancer is needed, personally.

The Sizzling Simon is honestly so sexy looking in my opinion, I love texture. Texture slut here! The ridges look like they could create some amazing stimulation. The Sizzling Simon has a measurement of 5.5 inches of insertable length and around 5 inches of circumference. This sounds like quite an average size for a vibrator, but trust me, the texture makes it feel bigger than it actually is!

I didn’t expect the Sizzling Simon to feel so firm, but it really does. It’s almost completely rigid, save for some very slight flexibility in the shaft. If you’re not used to texture, I don’t think the Sizzling Simon would be a great first choice as there’s very little to no give at all in the shaft, so just bear that in mind if you’re wanting to purchase the Sizzling Simon by the end of this review.

The Sizzling Simon shaft is made from silicone, which feels different to most silicone I’ve felt, it’s kinda rubbery in a sense. Not unpleasant at all but that means it does create some drag in use. The control panel area is made from ABS plastic and there’s just so many buttons to look at! I was a little apprehensive at that point because I’m very easily confused so I was unsure of what to do but the manual is very clear and instructive.

So yeah there’s six damn buttons..that’s just insane to me! What are they all for? Well, the two plus and minus buttons from the bottom are to operate just the vibrations of the Sizzling Simon. The next button is to operate the vibration programmes, of which there are 8 and 5 levels of intensity. The next button that looks like a heart monitor is to operate the e-stim, of which there are 5 types of stimulation and 10 levels of intensity. The two plus and minus buttons above that are to increase and decrease the intensity of the e-stim. There is also a training programme for your pelvic floor, which I haven’t used yet but it’s great if you’re into strengthening those muscles, and I am so I’ll have to try it out at some point!

My Experience with the Mystim Sizzling Simon:

I’ll start this off with the easy part, which is just the Sizzling Simon as a vibrator alone. It’s..ok? I mean I think the vibrations are decent, to me they feel in between buzzy and rumbly, leaning towards more buzzy than rumbly. Not a bad thing by any means but I would prefer the Sizzling Simon to have some more depth to its vibrations. They’re not the strongest either, the Sizzling Simon’s vibrations fall into mid-range in terms of strength and again, not a bad thing. I just think they could be stronger considering the price of the Sizzling Simon but I think the strength of the vibrations alone will please a lot of people. I’m just not really one of them.

As for the texture of the Sizzling Simon, my vagina unfortunately rejected it. Because the Sizzling Simon is so firm, the ridges feel quite hard and pokey, my vaginal walls didn’t like them much at all and they bump up against my pubic bone. Ouchy!

So I’m sure this is the part you’re all curious to know about, the e-stim. Long story short, it’s fucking amazing! I’ve never felt anything like it and it’s become one of my sexual interests now. Like, I just want to try out anything and everything related to e-stim and just go to town on my skin and sensitive areas, that’s literally how good it is. But I’m guessing you want me to go into more detail about how it feels? Well, alright then..

It’s such a difficult sensation to describe. I think that e-stim products that are meant to be used internally and e-stim products that are meant to be used externally, will feel completely different to each other but I do know for sure that I love the Sizzling Simon. I really was quite a bit apprehensive about using the e-stim for the first time. All the usual thoughts were running through my head. Would it hurt? Would I get electrocuted? No to both questions. Well, sort of.. Don’t worry, you can’t get electrocuted, but the e-stim does seem to hurt after a while. I’ll explain.

The first setting of the e-stim is perhaps my favourite. It doesn’t feel like a sharp stabbing or anything like that, it actually feels like a pulsation. Imagine an electricity current, and the waves of electricity are going back and forth, in time with your blinking. Now imagine you’re feeling that inside yourself, but without the obvious pain of the electricity, just how it looks. That’s how I can best describe it, I feel it’s really something that has to be experienced to understand. Something else to mention is that since the conductive panels run down both sides of the Sizzling Simon, the e-stim can be felt around my labia and my vulva, which is extremely delicious and it feels amazing! I think my favourite thing about the e-stim is how deeply it penetrates my vaginal tissue and it basically runs through my vagina. It really is quite an experience.

While I was experimenting with the e-stim settings, I did notice after a while with each one that when my vaginal muscles tensed, I could literally feel them tense and then relax. When my vaginal muscles tense, the e-stim feels more intense no matter which setting I’m on, and then when my vaginal muscles relax, the e-stim feels less intense. When this happens during orgasm with the Sizzling Simon..holy shit. Just holy shit! Some of the best orgasms I’ve ever had in my life!

But there is a little bit of a downside to the e-stim that I don’t like. I mentioned pain. Yeah it does hurt after a while for me. If I’ve been using the e-stim for longer than an hour or so, I can feel quite sore afterwards and some of the settings are a lot more intense compared to the first one. They tingle pleasurably at first but once I go up in intensity, the e-stim can feel a little too much so it’s more a case of getting used to each intensity at a slow pace and then going up once I feel confident enough.

Verdict:

Overall, I love the Sizzling Simon! It’s converted me into an e-stim lover, something I never would have expected to happen. I did think that e-stim wouldn’t be my thing or I’d just flat out hate it, but no! It’s one of the best feelings I’ve ever experienced and I can’t wait to try out some more things relating to e-stim. True, the e-stim can get a little much sometimes and it can leave me feeling sore, but I don’t care at all. My vagina easily adjusts to the feeling of the e-stim and I have explosive orgasms with the Sizzling Simon. It’s now one of my favourite things in my toybox. Just buy one, you won’t regret it!

I really love this review! I am obsessed with trying e-stim and am always looking for more resources on it. I am looking to find what the best e-stim toys are and anything I can learn about it gets me super excited! Thanks for the info!

Aw thank you! You’re very welcome! It is a lot of fun and not something I expected to enjoy so I was very pleasantly surprised 🙂

We have just started doing some e-stim stuff. This is going on the “to buy” list.

I acquired the Neon Wand a few days ago which I’m also going to be reviewing so it should be interesting to see what external e-stim is like. I do definitely recommend the Sizzling Simon though, it’s very fun 🙂
