~I received this product from Licx for free in exchange for an honest review. This in no way, shape or form has any affect on my opinions on this product.~
I’m one of those people who’s a little bit sceptical about products like this. Why? Because nine times out of ten, wipes or some kind of substance in a bottle that claim to make you feel fresher before or after your ‘intimate’ activities, never actually work. Or you end up getting some kind of allergic reaction where your bits feel like they’re on fire and incredibly itchy. No thanks! With all this in mind, I wasn’t expecting to like the Licx Intimate Wipes, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that they do their job very well!
Licx present their products in a lovely, clean and simple way, with minimal modern detailing. And their intimate wipes are no exception here. I stupidly didn’t take any pictures of the packaging or the wipes myself before I used them all so here are some product page pictures of them for you all to have a gander at!
The ingredients for the Licx Intimate Wipes are Purified Water, Glycerine, Sodium PCA, Phenoxyethanol, Phenethyl Alcohol, Caprylyl Glycol, Aloe Barbadensis (leaf extract) and Citric Acid. Licx lists their intimate wipes as being water-based, pH-balanced, paraben free, oil free, fragrance free and having one of my favourite things ever. An extract of Aloe Vera!
My Experience with the Licx Intimate Wipes:
This is something I don’t like to admit very often because I find it quite embarrassing. But I sweat. A LOT. Underarms, underneath my breasts, along the sides of my vagina. Just anywhere and everywhere you can think of. No matter how much I shower, I start to sweat within an hour or so and I’m back to square one again. I think a lot of my teen years and early adulthood were spent rubbing deodorant on my underarms and liberally spraying my clothes with body spray.
So how do the Licx Intimate Wipes actually come into this? Well, I rarely used them for their intended purpose. I mean yes, I used them after I had an orgasm because for one, I produce a lot of juice when I orgasm. So much so that it tends to run down between my butt cheeks, which is extremely annoying and I can sometimes go through half a roll of toilet paper during clean up, just to be able to feel more hygienic and fresh.
Now this is where it got interesting with the wipes. I used just one to start with, thinking I might have to use about five. Which wasn’t a great thought as I only had a pack of ten at my disposal.. But shockingly, I only used two! I think this is down to the fact that the Licx Intimate Wipes made me feel extremely fresh once I’d wiped up all my gunk. The feeling is close to when someone is blowing cold air on you, or when you’ve just had a shower/bath and the cold air is blowing around your damp hair. Only a bit less severe. It’s not an unpleasant feeling at all!
I actually felt a lot more confident whenever I used the wipes to clean my vagina every morning or so. Not even after masturbation, just when I was feeling ‘not so fresh’ because I’d sweated a lot that day. I also used the wipes on my underarms and even my face! My skin is unfortunately, quite greasy and the Licx Intimate Wipes really helped with that and made my pores feel less clogged with dirt etc. So not only are the Licx Intimate Wipes great for having making my vagina feel fresh, they’re also multipurpose wipes as they help with sweaty underarms and greasy faces!
It’s quite clear that I love the Licx Intimate Wipes. They make me feel amazingly confident, being the heavy sweater that I am. I’m so impressed by the freshness they provide and how the skin on my face benefits from them as well. The Licx Intimate Wipes haven’t exactly changed my view on these types of products because I think these wipes are probably one of the very few that actually do what they’re supposed to, without creating any allergic reactions. But I do wholeheartedly recommend the Licx Intimate Wipes, and at £2.99, you really can’t go wrong!
