Life by LEAF Vibrator Review

~I received this product from Adult.Wicked-Butterfly for free in exchange for an honest review. This in no way, shape or form has any affect on my opinions on this product.~

The LEAF range is definitely a unique and intriguing line of vibrators. I’ve honestly never seen anything so vivid, or made to look like something from a plant or a tree. The sex toy world continues to amaze me when various companies come up with something new like the Life! So I was extremely happy to be sent it to review from Adult Wicked Butterfly. So, did my experience with the Life make me want to be a lover of all things green and..leafy? Let’s find out!

First Impressions:

Firstly, I love how LEAF packages their vibrators. The box is fairly small, making it great for storage, it’s sturdy and looks extremely environmental friendly. Lift up the magnetic flap and you’re greeted by a black booklet that contains your instruction manual and info on your vibrator. Inside the box is your Life, sealed in a plastic bag, a cute little storage bag and USB charging lead.

The Life is gorgeous. I mean, not in the traditional sense but I love the colour (it’s more of a darker green than in my pictures but it’s still lovely) and it’s like a cute little pet, all chubby and unassuming with it’s leaf-like shape. Definitely a big fan of its appearance. The thing that made me want the Life the most from the LEAF range is the tip. I love my pinpoint stimulation more than broad stimulation so the tip of the Life looks like it’ll hit that spot just right, the tip is also quite flexible which I wasn’t expecting but it’s not necessarily a bad thing.

LEAF Life. LEAF Life. Storage bag. Flexible tip.

There are a few things I don’t like about how the Life works. Firstly, there’s only one button for the Life, which I find kind of..odd? I would have appreciated two buttons for an up and a down so I don’t have to press the singular button to go through all the speeds. Something else to mention is that the Life works in a strange way. To go through all the speeds, you don’t just click the button like regular vibrators, you have to hold down on the power button to go through all the speeds, and then let go to keep it on that speed. The Life will turn off if you press the power button, and then you have to start all over again. It’s slightly confusing and just annoying. Extremely weird.

Secondly, I don’t like how the Life has a very obvious seam. It runs the entire length of the vibrator, but at least I can’t feel it during use so I suppose it’s not that big of a deal. Lastly, the Life has a little charging port, which I don’t like at all because I have to basically stab my charging pin into it. Just makes me feel like I’m skewering my vibrator..

My Experience with the Life:

Being completely honest here, I was already thinking that the Life probably won’t make me orgasm because I’m so used to really strong vibrators. Not that the Life doesn’t feel strong, because it does. But when I actually placed the tip onto my clitoris, I was slightly disappointed. The Life still feels strong, but not as much as it did when I was holding it in my hand. That tip really does provide some great pinpoint stimulation though, so that did make me extremely pleased as my assumptions were correct in that regard.

But did the Life make me orgasm? To my surprise, yes it did. But it wasn’t without a lot of work. I actually had to use the Life in a different way than I do with most vibrators, I think this was down to the fact that it has a unique shape and the tip is very tiny so it applies a lot of direct contact to wherever it’s placed. So to make myself orgasm with the Life, I had to place it flat alongside my clit, and move it slowly up and down so the tip was just massaging my nerves rather than poking them. Which is what the Life does to me when I just hold it downwards and rub the tip at my clit. It did take quite a while for me to get close to Orgasm Mountain but when the orgasm finally hit me, it hit me hard. Definitely didn’t expect to have such a strong orgasm with the Life, but of course I’m glad I did!

As for the speeds, they’re actually really good. I did say that the Life feels a little less powerful when it comes into contact with my clit but it’s not by much. The vibrations are overall quite powerful and I do enjoy them, more than I expected to. The Life is also pretty quiet considering its vibration strength so it is pretty discreet and it can barely be heard from under bed covers and it certainly can’t be heard from behind a closed door or through walls.

Verdict:

The Life by LEAF vibrator won’t become a bedside favourite for me, but I do think it’s a pretty great vibrator. It’s cute, powerful (even for a power queen like me), unique in appearance and it’s fucking GREEN. It’s definitely not often that I see a green vibrator so massive thumbs up for that. I do dislike the way the Life functions but I can easily overlook that because I find the Life awesome overall so who really cares when you’ve got something this unique in your toybox? Not me, that’s for sure!
