Blush Novelties: Audre Vibrator Review

~I received this product from Blush Novelties for free in exchange for an honest review. This in no way, shape or form has any affect on my opinions on this product.~

Quite a while ago, Blush Novelties were looking for reviewers to test out some of their new range of toys, so obviously I jumped at the chance to try one out. I had a few options but the Audre really caught my eye. It looked sleek and it’s rechargeable so I was definitely interested!

First Impressions:

When I first saw the packaging for the Audre, I was so surprised at the quality. The box is really lovely and sturdy, black for the exterior, light and dark pink stripes for the interior. It also has a magnetic flap, which is something I love for the packaging for some strange reason..

The Audre comes in a plastic mould and I know I say this a lot but the silicone is seriously the best fucking silicone I’ve ever felt in my life. So incredibly smooth and soft that you’ll be stroking it over and over, trust me on this one! The Audre is pretty firm overall, with some slight flexibility in the shaft. There are two colour choices for the Audre, onyx (black) and passion (pink). Obviously I chose the black option, nothing against pink but I’m not that into pastel colours. The only thing that doesn’t make sense to me with the Audre is the base. It’s fucking ugly. Plastic and grey. I really don’t understand why Blush Novelties made the decision to put that on the Audre, it really ruins the appearance in my opinion.

To charge the Audre, just pull back the small (and quite flimsy) flap at the base and insert the the charging pin. This is something I have to complain about a little. The flap was difficult to open and I ended up ripping some of it off and fucking up what little nails I actually have. Sigh. But enough negativity! The Audre only has a few minor faults, it’s mostly all smooth sailing from this point so have no fear!

My Experience with the Audre:

As with every vibrator, I always test it out on my clit first because while I do like my internal vibrators, I definitely prefer clitoral stimulation to G-spot stimulation. So how does the Audre perform clitorally? Well, it’s not great but it’s not bad either. The vibrations from the Audre are deep, fairly strong and rumbling, which I love. So why wasn’t my clit in love with the Audre? The shaft ruins it. It’s too flexible so I can’t really put a lot of pressure onto my clit with the tip because the shaft just bends away from my clit. I can’t achieve an orgasm with the Audre clitorally, but that’s not to say I didn’t get close. Because I did. It just takes me quite a while and a bit of effort to try and keep the tip on my clit, which I wasn’t happy about. I feel like orgasms should be effortless.

Internally, the Audre performs so much better! I feel like it’s definitely designed to be used internally, rather than externally so I’m glad the Audre works as a G-spot vibrator. The tip of the Audre just snuggles right up to my G-spot upon insertion, which is fucking heavenly. I love how the vibrations just purr, awakening my G-spot rather easily, not something many vibrators have able to do for me so I was pleasantly surprised by this. I love how varied the vibration speeds are, I think they settle on mid-range on the strength scale, which is a good medium as they’ll suit a lot of people.

The Audre isn’t a toy that bangs away at my G-spot though, and sometimes I prefer a more gentle approach if I’m feeling a little sensitive or if I don’t want intense stimulation. I also think this is great because the Audre can be a great introduction to G-spot stimulation!

As for noise level, the Audre is really quiet. One of the few vibrators that is actually ‘whisper quiet’ like the product page states. It definitely can’t be heard through walls, closed doors or from under your duvet so there’s no worries there if you’re nervous about being heard!

Verdict?

I do really like the Audre, although I’m not in love with it like some other bloggers are. I think this may be down to the fact that it’s not a toy that really stands out from the rest. It has a good deal of strength and it works well for the G-spot, but the Audre isn’t the best G-spot vibrator I’ve ever tried. I’d recommend it to newbies wanting their first G-spot vibrator, or their first sex toy. But probably not to a seasoned sex toy user since it doesn’t do anything particularly special, but it is a lovely vibrator despite that.

Where to Buy?

You can’t purchase the Audre directly from Blush Novelties but you can get more information on it from their website if you’re curious to check it out!
