Sh! Women’s Store: Cute Coco Clitoral Vibrator Review

~I received this product from Sh! Women’s Store  for free in exchange for an honest review. This in no way, shape or form has any affect on my opinions on this product.~

About a month ago I think it was, Sh! Women’s Store announced on Twitter that they were looking for reviewers for some of their latest products, so I jumped at the chance to review something for them as I thought they seemed like a classy company and I liked the look of the things they had to offer. I was given four products to choose from and I was going back and forth between a glass item and the Cute Coco Vibrator. Clearly I chose the Cute Coco. Why? Well I love clitoral stimulation and this vibrator was definitely cute, so I just had to try it out!

First Impressions:

I was pretty surprised when I received my package because it was wrapped in purple (my camera makes it look blue, sorry!) tissue paper with a Sh! logo sticker holding it all together. It was very sweet and personal, I’ve never seen a company go the extra mile by wrapping up the packaging of a product before. The Cute Coco vibrator is within a pink, plastic tube with a clear window to display it.

The Cute Coco doesn’t really resemble anything I can put my finger on but it does look like a pod, which is adorable. I also love the colour, the deep purple is very eye-appealing and attractive. The silicone also feels great, which always makes me happy, soft and smooth is the way forward! Cute Coco has a fair amount of flex in the neck, which surprised me as I was expecting the vibrator to be completely rigid. Because of the flexibility, it might be a little difficult to put firm pressure on the clitoris since the vibrator could just bend away from your skin.

There’s a control panel containing two buttons, a plus and a minus, down the bottom of the vibrator near the base. The Cute Coco has two magnetic points underneath it for its USB connected charging dock, which is plastic, as is the base of the vibrator. A two hour charge gives you 90 minutes of playtime.

Overall, there’s ten functions, one vibration speed and nine patterns. Now I think you already know what I’m going to say if you’ve read my previous vibrator reviews. I hate patterns. They almost never work for me and I can’t orgasm from something that feels as random as patterns do, I need a wide range of steady vibrations.

My Experience with the Cute Coco:

I really did have high hopes for the Cute Coco. It has a unique design, it’s purple (my favourite colour) and it’s rechargeable. All at an affordable price too! But this vibrator just fell flat.

I think it would suit some people who perhaps might prefer patterns over vibration speeds but I’m just not one of those people. The steady vibration is very buzzy and to be honest, I couldn’t really feel much vibration through the silicone. I think that’s most likely down to the fact that it just isn’t powerful enough, it’s so weak and just felt more like a slight tickle, and I also had to spread my labia to be able to get the head of the Cute Coco onto my clit properly, but it didn’t really work out that way.

The vibrations also seemed to weaken even further, if that was possible, when I applied firm pressure to my clit so that was another bust as you probably know by now that I need a lot of firm pressure on my clit.

I’d mention the patterns if it wasn’t for the fact that my brain would probably explode. There’s nothing new here, the patterns in the Cute Coco just seem like ones I’ve already experienced before and I’m not fan of them. Maybe one day, I’ll find a vibrator with patterns that pleasure me. Although I doubt it..

Verdict:

Like I mentioned previously, I really did have high hopes for the Cute Coco because in theory, it ticked all my boxes. Unfortunately, it’s far too weak and buzzy for me personally and I don’t really understand why there’s only one steady vibration speed and nine patterns, it doesn’t make sense to me at all. If the Cute Coco was rumbly, maybe mid-range in terms of vibration strength and had more than one steady vibration speed, I think it would have been a winner for me. But personal preferences aside, if you like your patterns and buzzy vibrations, then maybe the Cute Coco is for you.
