We-Vibe Touch USB Rechargeable Clitoral Vibrator Review

“It lets me enjoy the ride to Orgasm Mountain, until finally, I’m pushed over the cliff tops.”

The We-Vibe Touch was the first vibrator I ever fell in love with. It’s actually funny how the first time I saw it being mentioned on the Lovehoney forums, I thought it looked quite unusual and to be honest, a little stupid. At the time, I was still pretty new to sex toys so I didn’t really think that a lot of them won’t look that traditional. But still, I was intrigued. So I read the reviews of the We-Vibe Touch, and everyone was just raving about it. Even professional bloggers were. So I decided to save up my pennies and purchase it. And that’s how the love story had begun with the Touch.

First Impressions:

Like I said, I thought the Touch looked unusual and a little stupid. But then once I saw it in its little box, I suddenly thought it was fucking adorable.  I don’t have the packaging any more so I’ll just have to use a product image so you all know what the box looks like.

As you can see above, the packaging is very tasteful and clean. No offensive porn images and the Touch is pictured on the front, the box having a purple and white colour design. Inside the box, the Touch is nestled in a white foam insert, under the flap in the box is a white satin storage bag, magnetic USB charger cable, a little booklet of instructions and a warranty card.

A friend of mine, back when I had first purchased the Touch said it looked like a Smurf that had been run over and squashed by some large truck. I thought this was kind of an apt description and it’s not really how you want to describe a sex toy at all. Doesn’t exactly scream sexiness, does it? But that’s just the thing. The Touch isn’t sexy. I don’t even think that was the idea. I think We-Vibe wanted to create a vibrator that is worthy of all the praise the Touch has. And they definitely accomplished that. It’s not how a sex toy looks that counts, its how it performs.

Regardless of the fact that it looks like a potato and a tongue decided to have a baby, it is made from glorious smooth and silky soft silicone, with little to no drag at all. A flexible tip for pinpoint stimulation and below that is a scoop shape which is great if you want the vibrations to surround the clitoris. The Touch is squishy around the hourglass ‘waist’ area and it has been ergonomically designed to fit in your hand for comfort during use.

It is operated by a singular button at the base of the toy, giving you 8 vibration modes (low, medium, high, ultra high, wave, pulse, tease and the cha-cha). To charge it, just let the magnetic charger snap into place on the base of the Touch, but be wary as because it’s magnetic, the connection can be very easily dislodged if you just move the Touch slightly, so it’s best to lay it down flat somewhere.

My Experience with the We-Vibe Touch:

I don’t even know where to start on this one. It’s just the perfect clitoral vibrator for me. It’s as if it was designed for my clit. Well..nearly anyway. The tip of the Touch is fucking amazing. It really does pinpoint every little nerve in my clit and the vibrations just penetrate so deeply into my clit, sending me into a euphoric state. Even though the tip of the Touch is pretty flexible, it really does provide the firm pressure on my clit that I need to achieve an orgasm. I was pretty surprised by that initially as I wasn’t expecting it to give me everything I need, as so few toys do, but the Touch ticks all my boxes.

The thing that really made me curious about the Touch was the scoop shape below the tip. Does it feel amazing? Well kind of. It doesn’t work the way it worked for other females using it. The scoop is meant to surround the clit, making the vibrations broad. But it doesn’t really do that for me. I don’t really think I’m a pinpoint stimulation girl or a broad stimulation girl, because if I liked one over the other, I wouldn’t love wand vibrators as well as clitoral toys that provide pinpoint stimulation. So I like both. But still, the scoop doesn’t do that much for me. It feels nice, don’t get me wrong, but I can’t orgasm just from having broad stimulation with the Touch, no matter how many times I’ve tried to make it work.

The Touch is the first toy that I’ve ever used that has an ‘ultra high’ setting on the vibration speeds. I had no idea what to expect as with clitoral toys, I can usually orgasm on the highest setting but sometimes I’m left wanting just a little more. And this is where I’m thanking my lucky stars that the Touch fucking exists. The ultra high mode is just..indescribable. It has to be used to know the power of this cute, little thing.  It makes me see stars, it makes me imagine I’m in a world of Willy Wonka but everything is edible and it’s all MINE. The Touch makes me own my pleasure and my orgasms, it lets me enjoy the ride to Orgasm Mountain, until finally, I’m pushed over the cliff tops.

The only two slight negatives I have about the Touch is that when I’m extremely wet (which is when I’m getting pretty close to having an orgasm), it has a tendency to slip a few times away from my clit and the tip bends away when I try to apply firm pressure. It’s not that big of a deal because I make it work, but it gets a little annoying at times.

The other thing is that it picks up dust and lint a little but that’s easily controlled if you keep it in the its storage bag, so it isn’t something to really worry about.

Verdict:

I adore the Touch so much, it’s perfect in every way for me. Silicone? Check. Rechargeable? Check. Quiet? Check. Powerful? CHECK!

I’d recommend it to guys as well, because even though it’s marketed as a clitoral toy it doesn’t mean that men can miss out on the fun and the magic that the Touch can deliver.
